The Charleston Camera Club is pleased to announce that we are bringing Eddie Tapp, internationally known professional photographer and educator, to the Kanawha Valley for a special presentation, “Eye to Eye: A Creative Challenge.” Canon USA is sponsoring this appearance by Mr. Tapp, who is a Canon “Explorer of Light.” The “Explorers of Light” concept was initiated by Canon USA several years ago as a program for photographic education and inspiration. Today, this select group is comprised of the most influential photographers in the world, each a master of their creative specialty.

Eddie Tapp brings over 50 years of photographic experience and quality assurance for his clients. His range of experience includes commercial photography, personal and business portraits, head shots, portfolio images, corporate, advertising, aerial, drone, video, post production, editing and more!

As a photographer, the greatest honor in his photographic career was being invited to be an Explorer of Light with Canon USA, and in his educational career was being inducted into the “Photoshop Hall of Fame.” He is proud and blessed with the highest awards from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) which include the Gerhard Bakker Award, National Award and Directors Award and others where he is honored with the distinction of Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, Master of Electronic Imaging, Approved Photographic Instructor and Certified Professional Photographer.
